As I type, we are aboard a ferry on our way to Northern Ireland where we will spend the week leading up to our next Dash Away in Graystones, Ireland. The winds are pretty strong out here in the Irish Sea and the boat is pitching accordingly. The journey is just over 2 hours so we’re “enjoying” the ride as we reflect on the past few days.
We keep wishing that the English language had words adequate enough to describe what we experienced and what we saw take place in the lives of these 13 ladies who attended DA 14. Most of the ladies were from the same church so they had been growing together for quite some time, but this was different. They were all so…. Ach. I wish I had words. Three of the ladies had been to the last DA here in September. All of them said this was over the top.
We saw 3 physical healings this weekend. During our final time of worship this morning, one woman just had to testify. She hadn’t been able to lift her left arm due to some issues with fibromyalgia. But in worship, she realized her arms were both lifted with no pain. Another had an ankle injury and couldn’t get up her toes, then this morning, she could…with no pain. Another had been having a lot of discomfort in her shoulder and back. This morning, she realized it was gone. We have been asking for signs that make you wonder…. It started last week with the healing of that chronic back issue…and it continues!
Beyond the physical healings, hearts were healed. We saw ladies healed and set free. Beverly Richardson, who joined us from the states to help with prayer ministry, along with Gail Montgomery from the YWAM base where the retreat was held, prayed for 7 ladies yesterday individually. They all received major and profound breakthroughs. They came for prayer, but God was already at work before they got it. There seemed to be a theme of God setting them free to be who He intended them to be…. Freedom!
We will write more later… provided we can find the words to do so. Thank you for praying!
